My husband works as the facilities guy at a large church in the city, part of his job duties include opening the church on Sunday morning so we are usually the first ones there at 8am. Since I am the toddler teacher that means I have an hour or more to wait until my first child arrives, it also means I spend about 30 minutes to an hour waiting after the last kid leaves for everyone to leave the building so he can lock up. I use all that free time to read God’s word, it is a real blessing. Yesterday the Holy Spirit led me to reread Micah along with my daily bible study passages. As usual when God is leading me it was an eye-opening moment.
When I got to the passage below I immediately linked it to the Rev. 12:2, the very sign that will appear in the heaven over Jerusalem on Sept. 23 Rosh Hosanah also referred to as the feast which no man knows the day or hour, the Feast of Trumpets, at the Last Trump during the time of twilight referred to as the twinkling of the eye. The Feast of Trumpets as I have said before is the next feast awaiting fulfillment, Christ’s death fulfilled the first 3 spring feasts and the day of Pentecost fulfilled that feast so now we have been waiting for about 2,000 years for the Feast of Trumpets to be fulfilled. This year it just happens to be that the exact sign we are given in Revelation 12 is going to occur on the feast. I am a firm believer that everything God tells us in Scripture is for a reason and I also take the Bible literally. If the plain as it is written sense makes perfect sense then I don’t look for any other sense. Therefore if John says he saw a great sign in the heaven I believe he did and that he was looking forward to this Sept. since everything after Rev. 4:1 is the things that must yet come, in other words it’s all prophecy after that. So the sign he saw hadn’t occurred yet but would occur in the future.
Folks the future is now! The exact sign is appearing this year on the Feast of Trumpets, at the time of the Last Trump, on Rosh Hosanah at the exact moment referred to as the twinkling of an eye that evening. That’s not coincidence! That’s God telling us something big is about to happen! I’m going to quickly go over the sign again and what I believe it refers to, thus what I am hopeful will occur on this coming Feast of Trumpets then I am going to explain how I believe God the passage in Micah which seems to support this. You can refer to the following posts for a much more in depth look at the sign: Signs, Signs pt. 2, Signs Pt. 3. I know I can get long winded when it comes to prophecy and the return of our Lord but it is so exciting to see prophecy fulfilled before our very eyes. I long to be with my sweet Lord, for to true believers, Christ followers, cross bearers he is sweet. He is our eternal hope of life, he takes away our sins and we will be washed white as snow. But woe to those who are not followers, who deny Jesus as Lord, the Son of God and believe not. For He is not sweet to them, no! He will be there judge and He is a just and righteous judge who will return judge all those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I praise Him and thank Him that my name is! So let’s get going here.
We will start with Rev. 4 where John tells us that everything contained in his Revelation from that point forward is prophecy, future events.
After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard, a voice as of a trumpet speaking with me, one saying, Come up hither, and I will shew thee the things which must come to pass hereafter. Revelation 4:1
It’s pretty clear, “the things which must come to pass hereafter.” That means the child the woman delivers can’t be Jesus since He had already been born, died, resurrected and ascended into heaven where He has been sitting on the Throne of God ever since – the male child is not Jesus.
And a great sign was seen in heaven; a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child: and she crieth out, travailing in birth, and in pain to be delivered. Revelation 12:1-2
John says he saw a great sign in heaven and I believe he did, I believe he saw a convergence of stars and planets to form a picture of what is going to occur on earth. See on Sept. 23rd we have an extremely rare sign forming in the heaven, as in never before, ever. Seriously the guy who discovered searched 6,000 years into the past and the future and not one other occurrence of it in this exact precise configuration was found. It is the constellation Virgo, representing Israel, with the sun over her right shoulder clothing her, wearing a crown made up of the constellation Leo plus 3 wandering stars or planets: Venus (the morning star), Mars (war), and Mercury (messenger, water and knowledge), the moon moves to below her feet as she is lying in a prone position as a laboring woman does, and Jupiter which spent an unheard of 42 weeks in her womb thanks to a weird retrograde action has just left the womb area and is between her legs – dare I say waiting to be caught up before the red dragon in the next great sign devours him. This sign is so precise even down to the meaning of the stars, it blows my mind.
And she was delivered of a son, a man child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne. Revelation 12:5
Since we have already established that when John saw this it was a future event and thus couldn’t be the birth of Jesus we must consider that the child is the Church of true believers, followers of Jesus, the body of Christ. Jesus, the head of the church, was born into heaven the day of the ascension. I know some say the church was born on Pentecost when the tongues of fire came down but it wasn’t, it was conceived in Israel that day so long ago and it makes perfect sense that the child in the sign would be the church finally being born of the woman, Israel, it was conceived in. Thus the head was born into heaven nearly 2,000 years ago and the body has been in the womb of the woman since 10 days after that.
I believe the body just might be born this Sept. 23rd. It says that the child, or church, is caught up to God, where we know Jesus the head of the church already is. And that the child will rule the nations with a rod of iron. This is further proof the child isn’t Jesus since He gives the church the rod His Father gave Him in Rev. 3. So we now consider Micah 5:3.
For clarity and context let’s look at the previous verse in Micah as well.
But thou, Beth-lehem Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall one come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2
This clearly refers to Christ who was born in Bethlehem and whom we know will rule the nations from Israel. Remember that Micah’s prophecies center on Jerusalem also as we continue.
Therefore he shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of his brothers shall return to the people of Israel. Micah 5:3
So in 5:3 we are told that He (Jesus) will give them (Jerusalem) until the time when she who is in labor has given birth. Let’s go to Luke for some insight on this.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:24
Until the times of the gentiles, the time of birth, are they one and the same time. At time the woman gives birth and the child is caught up to God (this is the Rapture or Harpozo by the way) is that when the times of the Gentiles end? Is the woman in labor in Micah the same woman John saw in Revelation 12? It seems very likely that Micah saw at least part of the same sign in the heaven John saw.
