The Gospel in the Stars pt. 8

So who is still with me on this?  I know it is powerful and pretty deep, especially if you are watching the Mark Correll videos along with the posts.  I am watching them as well, and find it extremely empowering, and moving that our Father would write the truth of His Son across the very sky before man even sinned because He knew what we would do, and thus what He must do.  Most nights I pray standing in my back door looking up at the stars and praise Him for His infinite wisdom and mercy towards us, wretched sinners, as He put the Truth right there for all to see.  After all He says that all have heard and know truth but most will deny it.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:  Romans 1:20

Tonight we look at Pisces, the Fishes. Made up of two fishes headed in opposite directions – one along the ecliptic, the other facing north.  The fishes are joined together by a long cord that is being held by the foot of the ram in the next constellation.  The Hebrew, Arabic, Greek, and Latin names for the sign all mean the Fishes.  In Coptic, it’s name is Pi-cot Orion; meaning the Fish, congregation, or the company of the coming Prince.  The fish represent a multitude of people that would be the church.  One fish stands for Moses and the Old Testament prophets who foretold the coming of Christ and the other one is the New Testament church age.

For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.  Matthew 13:17

The first decan of Pisces is the Band or Bridle, whose ancient name is Al Risha also meaning unity.  The band symbolizes the tying together of the Old and New Testaments, of the patriarchs to the church.  When we study and better understand the Old Testament and it’s prophecies then we as believers have a greater and deeper understanding of the fulfillment of those prophecies by Jesus Christ and the hope we true believers of the church age possess.  The band tying these two fish is being held by the next constellation Aries the ram or Lamb.  This vividly beautiful image reminds us that both parts of the church old and new belong to Christ the Lamb of God.

The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed and the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed. – Chuck Missler

Cephus, the crowned King, is the next decan and gives us a picture of the exalted Jesus, enthroned on high, wearing a royal robe, a crown of stars and holding a branch in His hand.  In His right shoulder is the bright star, Al Deramin – the quickly returning.  Other stars are Al Phirk, the Redeemer; Al Rai, the Shepherd.  The Egyptian name for this sign is Pe-ku-hor, the ruler that comes.  Cephus means the Royal Branch or the King.

Our final decan for Pisces is Andromeda, the chained queen.  Another picture of the church as the bride of Christ.  However this bride is in chains, tied down by her wrists and ankles showing how we as the church are confined and tied down by our earthly existence.  We will only be truly free once we are united with our head, Christ, in heaven as His bride.  The names of some of the stars in this constellation are: Al Phiratz, Mirach, Al Maach, and Al Amak meaning the broken-down, the weak, the afflicted, and finally the chained.

As always my beloved brethern in Christ may the Father bless and keep you.
