Spot the Difference

I began a series explaining why I believe God has preserved His Word for the English language in the King James Bible and how all versions since it are corrupted by Satan’s big plan which can be found way back in the garden in Genesis 3 as I will explain before we play a quick game.

First let’s look at what God commanded Adam when He put him in the garden back in Genesis 2.

Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV)  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  [17]  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Pay close attention to the bold words their important. Now let’s skip forward to when Satan that old serpent deceives Eve.

Genesis 3:1-4 (KJV)  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?  [2]  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:  [3]  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.  [4]  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Notice what Satan does, this is still his master plan to attack God’s Word. First he questions God’s Word: “Yea, hath God said…”. This then causes Eve to subtract from what God originally said to Adam: she leaves out the word freely. Then she adds to what God said by adding “neither shall ye touch it”. Next, she waters down what he said by changing “ye shall surely die” to “lest ye die.” And finally Satan just outright denies what God originally said not the jacked up watered down version Eve had ended with by saying “Ye shall NOT surely die.” Brothers and sisters this is the very thing every single English translation since the King James has done. They question, subtract, add, water down and outright deny the infallible, inspired, preserved Word that God has given us. Don’t believe me read the verses on the picture below and tell me if they all 4 say (mean) the same thing.

Notice anything missing from the three new versions. They are quite different than the KJV and things that are different are NOT the same. They don’t mean the same thing at all since the way we have redemption of sins is through the blood of Christ and not one of the new versions I looked at mention that truth so vital to our salvation.

Author:

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. —— Galatians 2:20
