Why, Why, Why?

Often believers face difficult situations, hard times and inevitably most ask “Why is all this happening to me?” They say that they are mad at God in a way because of the circumstances they find themselves in. I understand that feeling but it isn’t God causing those things to happen, God isn’t punishing or chastising them. That’s not what the Bible says He is doing today and the Bible is God’s very words to us. His only way of communicating to us today what HE IS and ISN’T doing right now. He’s not punishing us – He will punish those who reject him in the future but right now His attitude towards the world is grace and peace.

2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV — “To wit, that God was in Christ, 👉reconciling the world unto himself👈, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

Bad things happen because we live in a sin fallen world, of which Satan is the prince.

Ephesians 2:2 KJV — “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to 👉the prince of the power of the air👈, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

Job 1:7 KJV — “And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, 👉From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it👈.”

Ephesians 6:12 KJV — “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but 👉against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places👈.”

When we are living for Christ then we are working against Satan and his wiles as spoken of in Ephesians 6 so he gets mad and thus is working double time to try and stop us. One of his most powerful tools to do this is keeping us mixed up doctrinally. Such as being in a church or group that teaches law and grace or that we can loose our salvation, that we must work to keep it. Another is convincing us that God is working through signs and wonders as He did in times past with Israel such as praying for signs, physical blessings and wonders. That’s not how God is working today we walk by faith not sight. The signs and wonders ceased during Paul’s lifetime but today we still have many blessings they are spiritual though not physical. Here are just a few of the blessings we have in Christ :

Colossians 2:10 KJV — “And 👉ye are complete in him, 👈which is the head of all principality and power:”

Ephesians 1:3 KJV — “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath 👉blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:👈”

Ephesians 2:6 KJV — “And hath raised us up together, and 👉made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus👈:”

Romans 3:24 KJV — “Being👉 justified freely by his grace through the redemption👈 that is in Christ Jesus:”

When we realize what God is doing by obeying Christ’s instructions to us to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) and are thus grounded in sound doctrine as found in Paul’s Epistles for us today then Satan can’t decieve us because we know what God is doing and why. We have our armor on and are standing strong in Christ.

That makes Satan madder still so his next line of attack is throwing problems in our path to distract and discourage us. However if we understand who we are in Christ, what He has made us to be, and why as well as focus on His word and will for our lives found in Scripture then Satan and the world loose their hold and power over us because we are made strong in Christ. We have His peace filling and sustaining us. His will as given to us through His word the Bible which leads us, guides us, builds us up and edifies us to go out in the world and live for Him the one who died for our sins, was buried and rose the third day for our justification. The one in whom we are sealed by the Holy Spirit the instant we believe until the day of our redemption, our blessed hope the catching away of the body of Christ.

Now if we aren’t grounded and stablished in God’s word, knowing that it is our final authority in life and allowing it to work effectually in our lives by studying it and following what it says then we are not going to be fruitful and our lives will be unstable, we are weak soft targets for Satan to attack. Instead of doing what God would have us we are doing what the world tells us.

That’s what those who ask “Why” are doing, letting the world pull them away from Christ and who they are in Him. And Satan is dancing a jig about it, they’re really making that ole slewfooted deceivers day. Many times the problems they face involve family and friends and how they feel they have failed them. They say they try to give those they love everything yet feel they messed up, I ask them did do they give them what matters most? Do they give those around them time and letting others see them putting God first in their life? People will do what we do not what we say! Just as Paul is our example in following Christ, we are our loved ones example, they follow us. We have a choice every day do we give them more of the world by buying them things, adding more stuff to their lives, letting money and the world be the focus. Or do we give them our time, do we give them God’s word, point to Him in our actions and speech, and behavior?

They focus on money and the world in their personal life even though it makes them so miserable. Always wanting more, craving it, being overwhelmed by greed and lust for the things of this world. Always seeking more to try and fill that gaping void in their heart that stuff can never fill . When they realize all the stuff can’t make them happy they throw it out and try new stuff again and again and again. That carries over to their families and friends. They love them and think they show it if they buy them stuff but don’t really spend time with them. Not quality time. They never let them see you studying God’s word or relying on Him to lead them, never share the gospel of God’s glorious grace with them or help them grow in grace. They certainly don’t help them find a way to escape their temptations and problems in Christ through the word, because they themselves don’t do so.

1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV — “There hath 👉no temptation taken you but such as is common to man👈: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will 👉with the temptation also make a way to escape👈, that ye may be able to bear it.”

One way to escape those temptations is through God’s word working effectually within us.

Psalm 119:11 KJV — “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

They always wonder why they are falling into a world of hurt, along with those around them. But their lives ones are just reacting to the problems of this world the way they were taught. When believers focus in the world and not Christ they don’t take time to learn how to walk in Christ, to really live and grow in Him or teach others how. Instead they reach for the world, teaching others to also and then seek God when it bites them as it inevitably will because it belongs to Satan not God. They use God as a life preserver not as their life and Savior.

I know this is gonna make many of you mad and I am sorry but I speak from experience here. We reap the results of the seeds we sow , the life we choose to live and what we focus on is the seed the results of that are the fruit we reap. Focus on the world then you get the heartache and worry and stress of the world because you get the world. Focus on Christ and even though you live in the world and it’s problems you have peace and hope and strength because you get more of Christ. This world is just a cheap motel for us if we are saved in Christ, we are His Amabassadors representative of who He is and one day we aregoing home to the one whom we represent here. Do you represent him well? Or do you represent the world?

Those are questions I ask myself often and I strive to live in a way that represents Him well.

This quote by Rodney Beaulieu says so well what that joy, calm and comfort we feel after being emotionally keyed up by circumstances we find ourselves in, which is often mistaken as bring the PRESENCE of God. It’s not, it’s the PEACE of God:

“I understand what you are saying but let me help you. What you experienced was not the presence of God, It was the peace of God that replaced the guilt and the emotional abuse. When the peace of God replaces the guilt of emotional tragedy in a persons life, they will cry, tears release chemicals that cause stress, when stress is gone and replaced by peace, it will be such an overwhelming change from your former state that you will think you are FEELING the presence of God. But you are not. You are experiencing the wonderful peace of God and knowing that you are forgiven by him and at one with him. The weight is lifted off your shoulders, you feel lighter, you feel happy, you feel joy, you feel like you can go on with life. This is what happens to every person who has believed the gospel and has been forgiven and saved by grace through faith in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So I know exactly what you are speaking of. I’ve been saved for 35 years and still experience the peace of God.”

That Voice You Hear, Ain’t God!

In conversation once up at the Big (the Church where we work at) someone mentioned that they felt they had often heard God speak to them, telling them what to do. I was intrigued so I asked how they knew it was God. They felt calmed, felt peaceful, felt secure and hopeful, enlightened, and occasionally convicted. They further explained that it had to be God they heard because when Satan speaks he makes them feel worried, fearful, obsessed, confused, hurried, pushed and discouraged. Hmm, so they felt that anything positive was of God and negative of Satan, that is the common belief of most of Christendom today thanks to the Pentecostal and Charismatic influences that have taken hold in all denominations today. Bet that I could have been talking to most of you who read this, right? Yep, I know, there was a time I coulda had that conversation with myself, and I’d have been wrong. But before you get your nerves all tore outta the frame, keep reading and I’ll show you through Scripture why that kinda thinking is wrong. Let’s talk about the tone of the voices heard: God was always positive and Satan negative. But is there any doctrinal, dispensational or scriptural backing to this assumption? Did Satan always speak negatively, harshly, causing fear and confusion? Not exactly, think about how he assured Eve in the garden that she wouldn’t surely die: “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: Genesis 3:4 KJV” He was lying through his slimy teeth of course as he hissed that deadly deceptive assurance in her ear, but he was doing so positively, making it sound sure and good. He even continued by sweetening the pot of poison by offering her enlightenment in the next verse if she ate the forbidden yet oh so tempting fruit. “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Genesis 3:5 KJV” See, it’s very possible to be encouraged in evil, to be tempted by it, hence the whole temptation thing. in Matthew 4 we see Jesus himself being tempted by the Devil. Psalm 64:5 also says that “they encourage themselves in an evil thing.”. Passages such as Jeremiah 23:16-18 show that false prophets lead men through a vision to be still and calm saying “no harm shall come upon you” when they needed to skeedadle quick cause harm was about to kick in the door. Which is why God told those specific people who were listening to those false prophets to “give no heed to them.” In addition to feeling God was always positive my friend at the Big felt Satan’s voice obsesses, worries, condemns, discourages, confuses, pushes, frightens, and rushes. All of these descriptions are negative and invoke feelings of inadequacy and forced change and none of these descriptions refer to any doctrine, dispensation, or source of truth about Satan. They only refer to what a voice makes you feel. But what if it is the Lord that discourages you from doing something? Shouldn’t you listen? Moses by direction of God discouraged the children of Israel from going into the promised land at one point, because “the LORD is not among you” and “it shall not prosper” (Num 14:41-42). Those people died who would not be discouraged, maybe they should have listened. In the Bible God pushes (Deu 33:17), confuses (Gen 11:7), condemns (Isa 54:17; John 3:18), and frightens, striking fear into men’s hearts (Matt 10:28; Rev 14:7). Oh and then there’s obsession which can be a good thing when it concerns seeking and saving that which is lost (Matt 18:11; 1 Cor 9:22; 1 Cor 16:15; Gal 4:18). That’s the kinda obsessed I wanna be for sure. Satan often speaks God’s words from other portions of scripture out of context! It is called lying. Besides, your flesh will always be at peace to follow its fallen desires. Paul’s “Oh, wretched man that I am!”. We can’t trust our hearts. There must be more to knowing God’s voice beyond reliance on how that voice may make us feel. After all, truth can hurt and wrong can feel oh so very good. So how can we know whether the voice is God’s or Satan’s? It’s easy. You just get a KJV Bible first off, then read it literally, don’t spiritualize it or try to twist it, and most importantly follow God’s instructions telling us how to read it! Guys, that verse was a life changer when I understood it. Rightly divided the word of truth… it seemed strange at first to think about dividing the word. But then it clicked. Good grief, I divide stuff all the time. Like my son’s books for school, I divide the work in them up into smaller assignments to avoid that deer in the headlights to utter panic to frazzled overload to crash that assigning and entire years work at once would cause. I divide yarn, food, clothes, my time. That’s not just the books, chapters and verses though which are very useful divisions but weren’t part of the originals, they were added much much later. It’s kinda like when I read a book on homeschool methods and I skimmed whole sections because they were for grades or levels we had already passed. Like the part written about kindergarten, I read it quickly because it was informative for gathering general teaching ideas but I really poured over the sections that covered levels my son is currently at. Basically it’s just read it naturally and look at who is talking to whom, why, when and where. If Israel is the focus then it’s not to you directly but to them. Sure you can gain and profit from reading it, you gain a clear understanding of God’s plans for Israel and for us today as members of the Body of Christ. When you begin to rightly divide you will realize that most of the Bible is written to and about Israel but there are 13 Epistles in the New Testament that God revealed to Paul just for us today. Romans through Philemon are the books where we find what God is doing today and what he expects of us today. It contains the truth of how we can know it is God talking to us, and how to tell when it isn’t. Long story short here. When Israel stoned Stephen they blasphemed the Holy Ghost which Jesus had said wouldn’t be forgiven them – they balsphemed and rejected God when they asked for a king, Jesus when they killed Him and then that day when they stoned Stephen they rejected the Holy Spirit. Stephen calls it right in this verse: “Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Acts 7:51 KJV” “One, two three strikes and you’re in time out” I often tell my littles on Sunday’s, that’s basically how God dealt with Israel after this. Christ shown down from glory and saved Paul making him the apostle to the Gentiles and God this set Israel aside for a spell, so far it’s a long time out – 2,000 years (which is what my little act like 2 minutes is) while He completes the other part of His plan to reconcile both heaven and Earth back to Himself. He forms the Body of Christ through the revelation of the mystery He had had hidden in himself since before the world began, Israel is under prophecy which was revealed to the prophets since the world began. So mystery hid in God before world began, prophecy known by prophets since the world began. That’s kinda different, another division. So this division isn’t permanent, one day the body will be complete and caught up to be with our head forever, we are going to take back heaven for God and He will begin dealing with Israel again and finish what had started when Christ came to earth the first time , the coming of God’s kingdom on Earth. That background there is the key to understanding how God is speaking to us today because it’s not the same way He spoke to Israel in the past it will in the future. See when God saved Paul and gave him the completed revelation of the mystery the signs that had been given during that time to believers (tongues, prophecy, healing, etc.) ceased because they were no longer needed in this age. Certainly, neither God nor Satan’s voice could ever be discerned by how our thoughts and experiences make us feel. They cannot be discerned by our experiences at all! When my littles are babies and have yet to learn how to talk they are greatly affected by the tone of a voice. A tone can strike fear into a child’s heart or bring comfort. Either way a baby disregards the actual words being said, they just hear the tone. Paul gave those tongue-talking Pentecostals the Corinthians who were spiritual babes this advice: “Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.” – 1 Corinthians 14:20 Mature men act like men, they are not selfish pleasure seeking individuals avoiding any sacrifice and inconvenience on their flesh. Men take responsibility to learn, understand, study, and sacrifice for the benefit of others.Certainly, neither God nor Satan’s voice can be discerned by how our thoughts and experiences make us feel. They cannot be discerned by our experiences at all! However children that cannot speak or read go by sights and sounds. This true of adults who are spiritual children as well. This is like the charismatics who listen to God’s voice in the visual circumstances and in the tone of one’s voice. When we grow in our faith we stop being swayed by feelings and emotions and we listen to the words, we learn where to find them too, in the Book. We hear God’s voice in the doctrinal understanding of the Bible rightly divided. The Bible, not voices, not feelings, just the written inspired and preserved words of God. The feeling centered perspective on God’s will is a consequence of the Pentecostal problem that teaches wrongly how God speaks. It teaches believers to trust their feelings which are fallible instead of God’s word which is perfect, sure, true, infallible! God’s perfect plan goes beyond how you feel in your life. His purpose is not to make you feel good all the time but to see you become a fruitful member of His Sons Body. Satan has an evil agenda and it is not always to make you feel bad all the time, he makes sin sound, look and feel really good. God’s will is Biblically revealed and dispensationally considered, for the record Satan’s is too. Knowing God’s voice (and Satan’s) requires having a copy of God’s complete word of truth: the Bible. Then, we must understand what God said, to whom he said it, and in what dispensational context. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 KJV” So I ask, whose really speaking to you? Satan through your flesh, your feelings… or God through His word of truth?

Throw Out That Trash

THROW OUT YOUR DENOMINATIONAL TRASH

LEARN ABOUT GOD’S TWO PROGRAMS, TWO AGENCIES, AND TWO METHODS OF REVEALING HIS WORD

God designed His word to be studied dispensationally. God gave Paul to give to us the KEY to understanding His word (2Tim 2:15 KJV).

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been studying your KJV Bible, nor how long you’ve been a ‘pastor’ or a ‘Bible teacher’, if you AREN’T rightly dividing the word of truth, you ARE NOT understanding God’s word correctly. Period.

It is impossible to be a mature saint IN Christ, without an understanding of God’s TWO programs, TWO agencies, and TWO methods of God revealing His word.

God’s TWO different & separate PROGRAMS: Law vs. the dispensation of Grace.

God’s TWO different & separate AGENCIES: Nation of Israel vs. the church the Body of Christ.

God’s TWO different & separate METHODS of revealing His word: Prophecy vs. Mystery.

Nation of Israel under the Law guided by God through PROPHECY.

Body of Christ under Grace guided by God through the MYSTERY.

God gave Jesus’ 12 disciples the “gospel of Jesus Christ” according to PROPHECY. (Mark 1:1-2 KJV)

God gave apostle Paul the “gospel of Christ” according to the MYSTERY. (Romans 16:25 KJV)

The gospel according to PROPHECY required water baptism.

Whereas, the gospel according to the MYSTERY doesn’t include water baptism.

The gospel according to PROPHECY was for ISRAEL only.

The gospel according to the MYSTERY is for us today during this current dispensation of GRACE.

This Is The Gospel

This is the Gospel that SAVES today!

It is not found in Acts 2:38 or the red letters, you only find it in Paul’s Epistles because it was a mystery hidden in God since BEFORE the world began.

All through the Old Testament, the four Gospels, and early Acts it was hidden in God not even hinted at in scripture.

Yes, that includes Pentecost in Acts 2 which is not the birth of the Church the Body of Christ but the fullfillment of prophecy for Israel; the church added to was Jewish, the hearers and 3000 added were Jews and won’t actually receive eternal salvation until Jesus second coming to set up the kingdom of heaven on earth. (Acts 2:38 – repent and be baptized, Acts 3:19 – sins blotted out at the times of refreshing: second coming).

The Church the Body of Christ began when the first member got saved, Paul, in Acts 9. This is when the Church of today began when the GLORIFIED RISEN CHRIST shined down from heaven’s glory 👉after👈 Israel blasphemed the Holy Ghost -the unpardonable sin – in Acts 7 and the kingdom program (prophecy known since the world began) was put in time out and saves Paul putting into play the secret hidden in God since BEFORE “Let there be light”.

Paul is the one Christ gave this mystery of what was truly accomplished by His finished work of the cross – His death burial and resurrection not Peter or any of the twelve.

This is the Gospel found in 👉1 Corinthians 15:3-4 👈and the ONLY way to get saved today is to believe that!

👉Believe it plus nothing, it’s a gift. 👈 You don’t deserve it, can never earn it and if you try you reject it. You can’t do what Christ has done.

Accept the free gift of God’s grace by believing that Christ died for all your sins past present and future ( they were all future 2000 years ago at the cross) was buried and rose the third day for your justification and that instant you are saved, and sealed by the Holy Spirit into Christ, and it is finished. That’s Ephesians 1:13 by the way. It’s a done deal, you can’t lose it and you can’t throw it away. You’re saved sealed and set apart from this works into the Body of Christ a brand new creature already seated in Christ in heavenly places!

Not born again!👉 BUT NEW CREATURE,👈 very different, born again is earthly as Israel is earthly and at Christ’s second coming they will as a nation be born again but we will have already been caught up taken to heaven with Christ as His body.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV — “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Galatians 6:15 KJV — “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.”

Just believe in His death burial and resurrection and you are saved forever that’s the simplicity of Paul’s My Gospel and it’s what the Glorified Risen Christ says we are to believe today.

Sufficient Grace

This verse is one I find myself resting in often. When this old body gets to aching, the world starts feeling as if it shaking from troubles, worries build up then I find myself in God’s word, seeking His strength cause when I am weak in Him I am strong. Think about the absolutely beautiful grace found through these words. That when we in our weaknesses rest entirely in Christ His power and grace will be sufficient to make us strong and weather whatever storm and trouble we face. And goodness knows we as believers and just people stuck in this world will face them. Lots of them, they’re even more sure than death. We always have the hope of being the caught up saints – this world we are in has reached a level of weirdness and evil that makes me wonder how much longer it will be before we get caught up and it’s game on again for Israel’s program.

Before I learned how to study and understand what God is doing and said to us today that really tore my nerves outta the frame. There were some dark dark days there when we listened to teachers who were all jacked up in their beliefs mixing law and grace, Israel and the Body, the second coming with our catching up, etc. I let myself get drawn away from God’s word and listening to man’s ideas. But my husband from the day he was saved saw right division and he began leading me, teaching me what he was seeing about what God was doing. He would study at work all day and then come home and share, I would listen and then study the next day. This continued till one day it clicked and I saw what he was talking about and all the confusion from before – like the whole gospel of the circumcision / uncircumcision; body of Christ being bride of Christ, the rapture and Revelation, etc. At this point we hadn’t really found anyone teaching this so we didn’t have a name he just recognized that the instructions in Paul’s Epistles were different than the rest of Scripture. Then one day he stumbled across a Message of Grace video by Richard Jordan and we had a name for how we were seeing in God’s word – right division; 2 Timothy 2:15 O wrote that down and memorized it as I began seeing the pieces of God’s puzzle clearly for the first time. That was over a year ago, my faith and edification in what God is doing today. That is what led to me really understanding 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 and realizing just how much more muchier than I could have ever even dared to hope God’s grace towards us is. The more I get to know Him through His word the more I thank Him, the more I dwell and rest in Him, the more I share Him and the truth of His glorious grace!

Free From Sin

Sin is a real problem for every single one of us. See as children of Adam we are born sinners, every last one of us. And yea, when the Bible says we are born sinners it means it. I teach toddlers from 18 months to around 3 or 4 years old each Sunday and trust me those seemingly innocent little ones are born sinning. They will hit and bite another child as they try to “steal” the toy they covet. And don’t get me started on the lies involving dirty diapers; vehemently denying a loaded diaper is pointless but they all do it.

Romans 3:23 KJV — For 👉all have sinned👈, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 5:12 KJV — Wherefore, as👉 by one man sin entered into the world👈, and death by sin; and so👉 death passed upon all men, 👈for that all have sinned:

Romans 6:23 KJV — For the 👉wages of sin is death; 👈but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:15 KJV — But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Basically we are by birth a bunch of bad apples, rotten to the core in God’s standards. That’s a real problem too because He hates sin and can’t be around it which means in our natural state we are separated from Him and doomed to hell and a lake of fire when we die. That’s the place God has for those who die as sinners.

That breaks His heart though whenever anyone ends up there. That’s not what man was created for. We were created to love Him, fellowship and commune with Him but pride got in the way. Eve listened to the serpents lies when he told her she could be like God and she ate the fruit and Adam who had heard God say what would happen well, he ate too and today you have two year olds smelling like a Johnny on the Spot saying they don’t need their diaper changed cause they didn’t mess in it.

We got a fruit problem and God knew we would have so before the world began He decided how He was gonna fix it for us. He decided back then that when the time was right Christ would die on the cross to pay for the sins of all the world. All of them – past, present and future – and He would then be buried and raise from the grave alive, resurrected, the third day.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV — For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that 👉Christ died for our sins 👈according to the scriptures; And that he 👉was buried, and that he rose again 👈the third day according to the scriptures:

All God wants us to do is believe that, trust in that for our salvation to fix our sin fruit problem. When we do we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and put into Christ’s death burial and resurrection and God no longer sees us but His Son, we have Christ’s righteousness Christ was the only man who NEVER sinned, EVER; He was God’s Son but also God in the flesh and He was perfect and therefore only He was able to pay the debt for sin that we owe.

Ephesians 1:13 KJV — In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also👉 after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit 👈of promise,

2 Corinthians 1:22 KJV — Who hath also 👉sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.👈

When we are sealed and put into Christ then we are like Him, we are perfect before God and therefore we are freed from sin, dead to it. It no longer reigns in our hearts and bodies, and we have the power in Christ to overcome it when we rest solely in who we are in Him! Sin our “flesh”,; our natural fallen state, our “old man”; is crucified with Christ. It dies spiritually and is resurrected a totally new creature sin free and perfect before God, our “new man.”. Kinda like a caterpillar that goes into it’s cocoon where it basically dies then wait a spell and it comes back out a whole new thing, a gorgeous butterfly. Our flesh will still bear “bad” fruit if we rest in it, but our spirit will bear “good” fruit if we rest in Christ. Our flesh remember was crucified with Him and is dead so we are now free to live in the spirit and bear good fruit to God. He empowers us to serve Him in the spirit, we just have to choose to do so.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV —👉 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.👈

Stop resurrecting the “old man” that God has crucified, live in the “new man” and the newness of life you have in Him.

Accepted in the Beloved

This truth of who we are in Christ as members of His body is one that gives me the deepest peace, a peace that passeth all understanding and is possible only by resting solely in His glorious grace! I praise Him that I am eternally gripped in His love, accepted in the Beloved, Christ Jesus, God’s precious Son and my Saviour. Do you have this peace? Are you accepted in Christ, the Beloved because you have believed the gospel of your Salvation; how that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again the third day?

We are all sinners by nature and that sin separates us from God who is holy, just and perfect. Our sin breaks God’s laws and His heart as it means we must die because that’s the wages of sin and that in dying we would be sent to hell for all eternity. But He doesn’t want it that way, He created man to be in fellowship with Him, to bring Him glory. But the first man Adam, well he jacked that all up pretty quick and brought sin upon man, sin that we inherited through him. But God in His wisdom knew what Adam would do and the problem man would have because of it before He ever even made the world and He made a plan then to fix it. He decided before the world began that He would send His Beloved Son to dwell among us on Earth – God with meat on Him- and eventually go to the cross and die for the sins of the world. God took your sins (and mine) and laid them on Christ, who died for them to pay your debt to God. He paid the debt He didn’t owe because He knew you could never do it. He was the only One who could, and in His precious grace, and glorious love He did so. He paid for all sins that day at Calvary – past, present and future – with His blood, you just need to believe that and when you do then He saves you, it’s a gift, completely free. You just have to accept it, believe Christ Jesus is who said, did what He did. Trusting in His blood alone is the ONLY thing that can will and does save you. That’s believing Christ and the gospel of God’s grace.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV — For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that 👉Christ died for our sins 👈according to the scriptures; And that 👉he was buried, 👈and that 👉he rose again the third day👈 according to the scriptures:

Ephesians 1:13 KJV — 👉In whom ye also trusted👈, after that ye heard the word of truth, 👉the gospel of your salvation👈: in whom also 👉after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise👈

Ephesians 2:8 KJV — For 👉by grace are ye saved through faith;👈 and that not of yourselves: it is 👉the gift of God:👈

If you have believed that only gospel that saves you today then you are saved, sealed by the Holy Spirit into Christ and yes, you too are accepted in the Beloved.
