The Rapture not the 2nd Coming

Denial of the Rapture – when the members of the Body of Christ are caught up to meet Him in the air – is a quick tip that a person fails to rightly divide Scripture and is at best confused and misled at worst likely not even be saved!

Anyone who thinks they have to go through or endure the Tribulation because they believe they are Israel; they aren’t, we’re the Body of Christ and  have already received the atonement  –
Romans 5:11 KJV — “And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom  we have now received the atonement.” –
does not understand the gospel that saves today (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), and they can’t really believe what they don’t understand so they need to get saved.

The rapture ends the dispensation of grace and is one of the mysteries revealed to Paul by the glorified, risen Christ so cannot be found or connected to anything outside of Romans thru Philemon. Sorry, but it’s not in Matthew 24, Isaiah, Daniel, Luke, or Revelation.  Believe me, there was a dark period before I found the key when I was ready to sell everything find a cave in the deepest wilderness and learn to survive on berries, tree bark and those weird meals you justvadd water to when I tried like mad to find it there with no luck.  You can’t find what isn’t there, so I began to think maybe the people saying we had to go through the Tribulation had it right.  Praise God though my husband in his study of the Bible – no teachers, no preachers, just him and God’s word and the Holy Spirit – began to see right division and share it with me.  One day it clicked and Praise the Lord I saw things right!!  All the confusion, doubt, fear, and worry was gone because I realized who I was, I was complete in Christ and set free from sin, dead to it and the reason I couldn’t find the rapture in the red letters or prophets was cause it wasn’t there.

But what I did find through pouring over God’s word rightly divided was the division between the Rapture and the Second Coming I had missed.  I hadn’t realized that the Tribulation is the divider between the two events.  The Rapture occurs, then the Tribulation begins at some point after the Body is caught up, the Tribulation then ends with Christ’s Second Coming.  Below is a summary of the key differences between the Rapture and the Second Coming that right division makes glaringly obvious.

The Rapture:
• Occurs before the Tribulation period (1 Thes 1:10)
• Is a message of grace, joy and peace (1 Thes 1:1, 10; 2 Tim 4:8; Titus 2:13)
• Believers are to look for Christ, not signs (Phil 3:20-21)
• Believers have “comfort” and “rest” (1 Thes 4:18; 5:11; 2 Thes 1:7;2:16,17)
• Results in LIFE as Members of the Body of Christ are raised from the dead (1 Cor 15:52; 1 Thes 4:16)
• Marks the end of the Dispensation of Grace (Rom 11:25; 1 Cor 15:51-52)
• “Blessed Hope” for Body of Christ (1 Thes 4:14)
• Believers burden is to reach others for Christ so they are not left behind to go into the Tribulation (1 Thes 5:4-8)
• Unrevealed until the risen Christ told Paul about it (1 Cor 15:51)

The Second Coming:
•  Takes place after the Tribulation (Matt 24:29)
• Is about judgment, vengeance and wrath (Psa 50:3; Joel 3:9-16; Rev 19:11-21)
• Israel is to look for the signs of Christ’s Second Coming (Matt 24:3,15,33; Luke 21:28)
• The earth will “mourn” and great fear (Zech 12:10; Matt 24:30; Rev 1:7)
• Results in DEATH, carcasses from Armageddon cover the ground (Psa 110:5-6; Zech 14:12; Matt 24:28; Rev 19:17-18)
• Marks the end of the Tribulation (Matt 24:3)
• Believers in Jesus as Israel’s Messiah MUST endure till the end to be saved by the Second Coming (Matt 10:22; 24:13; John 20:31)
• The burden of Israel will be God’s vengeance poured out on their enemies (Psa 5; 58; 59; 79)
• Predicted in the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Hebrew epistles (Isa 64:1-2; 66:15-18; Mark 13:24-26; Jude 14, 15)

The World’s Got A Problem

The world’s got about 99 billion problems, but really they all boil down to just 1.  SIN!  Its the number one killer in the world because it’s the one sickness we are ALL infected with the moment we are conceived.  And the consequences of it are terminal, fatal % of the time.  No one recovers or escapes on their own.  

Romans 3:23 KJV  “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Romans 5:12 KJV  “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Romans 6:23 KJV “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

This sin problem results in our deaths but that’s not the worst part of it.  It separates us from God who is holy and can’t be around sin for all eternity.  See sin is rebelling against God, it’s saying we are gonna do what we want, when we want, because we want to. We are telling God to buzz off basically and let us do what we wilt – so he does.  He leaves us to wreck our lives our world and our eternity.  God won’t force us to obey or love him even though he lives us and wants us to do so.  If we die in our sinful nature then we can’t go to heaven where God is because we’re still sinners, just dead ones.  So we go to hell and eternal torment and torture that was created for Satan and his angels, whom we chose to follow in life.  God just lets us continue following the one we chose. Told ya, sin is a BIG problem.

God knew we would have this problem though so before he ever even started making the world he came up with the absolute perfect solution to it.  I mean seriously this is so good only God could have ever come up with it. He came up with this perfect solution to our sin problem because he lives us and doesn’t want to be separated from us forever.  He created man to have fellowship with, to bring him honor and joy but he knew before he created him that it would go sideways at about 100 miles a minute and man would sever that fellowship.  Which is why he had to do what he did, why before creation in eternity past, “before Satan’s fall and ” Let there be light” God hid a perfect plan in himself until the perfect time that obliterates that sin problem for all who let it.  You’ll find that solution in only one place, God’s word the KJV Bible and there is only one way to partake of it.  Believe.  That’s it.

Believe what you ask?

The gospel of the grace of God for your Salvation today!  Believe it for the only solution to your sin problem.

Salvation is the only answer to sin, salvation is the free gift of God bestowed upon dinners who believe the gospel of his glorious grace.  It is simply this:

That God knew men would sin so he became a man in  the form of his perfect Son, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect sinless life until the day he died on the cross for you and me.  His death paid the debt you owe God for breaking his paws with your sins.  Think about that for a second.  The holy God of heaven creator of all things out meat on in the son Jesus Christ and died so that you could be with him for eternity, rather than suffering the eternal torment of damnation in hell you deserve.  Christ’s  death paid the price for every single one of your sins, past present and future. Afterwards His burial removed them forever and then praise God glory oh glory He rose from that cold dark grave alive.  Alive!  He rose for your justification before God the Father, proof that you too have eternal life when you believe.

That’s the simple truth of the Gospel and anyone questioning rejects or belittles the gospel we are to believe in order to receive the free gift of salvation.  If a person finds issue with telling people that there is nothing they can do to earn their Salvation because Christ already did it all through his death, burial and resurrection of and the moment a person believes that what He did was enough they are saved and sealed into Christ made a new creature in Him a member of His body for all eternity then maybe they need to pay closer attention to those verses and just believe them before it is too late.  For someone to imply that it is somehow wrong to share this truth and then go on to suggest that the answer to sin is found everywhere else in scripture BUT the verses shared when that’s not true at all is just jacked up and a result of being deceived by the wiles and doctrines of the devil.  The entire Bible is the word of God written for us to read and study which I do.  However, because I believe it is ALL God’s word and I know God cannot lie I believe every word in it is true. EVERY WORD.  I read who is being spoken to by whom, when, why and where just like I would when reading anything so I can understand it plainly.

Therefore when I read in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John about Jesus’ earthly ministry offering the promised kingdom to the nation of Israel I know that it is written to Israel but is given to me for my understanding of what God is doing with them.  After all Jesus repeatedly says so and I believe what he says.

Thus when I read of Jesus Christ’s heavenly ministry revealed to Paul for the body of Christ I know that it’s to for and about me for doctrine and functioning in the body of Christ today.  The things Paul wrote are the commandments of the Lord so I follow Christ who told me to follow Paul:

1 Corinthians 14:37 KJV — “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 4:16 KJV — “Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.”

1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV — “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

Philippians 3:17 KJV — “Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.”

I don’t follow any man but Christ, Christ who gave 1 man to be my pattern.  Why is it that we get accused of following men anyway?  Why do people think my understanding of scripture comes from men?  It doesn’t, it comes from the renewing of my mind through the sound doctrines found in God’s word.  When I first understood God’s plan to reconcile all things together in one in Christ both the heavens through the Body of Christ and the earth through the nation Israel it was through just reading the Bible plainly and trying to sort out the who, what, where, when, why and how of it.  My husband and I would study the Bible all day and discuss it at night, we weren’t listening to any teacher other than the Holy Spirit dwelling within us and we came to a knowledge and understanding of the truth this way.  It was only much later that we began to find a few others who understood it as well.

If a person claims to follow all the books how do they still have a stuff, like a house, car, phone or computer? Christ’s disciples were commanded to sell all that they had and give it to the 12 apostles who would then give to them as they had need.  They had all things common.

Jesus Christ also commanded in John 14 and 15 during his earthly ministry that his followers would keep all his commandments, all 600+ of them.  How are those who are questioning the gospel of God’s grace doing at that?  Do they keep the Sabbath every Saturday like Jesus did?  If they are they can’t do any work at all on Saturday, they can’t even use anything that is electronic or eat hot food because that requires the kindling of a fire somewhere.  Doing anything at all on the Sabbath (which God said was Saturday the 7th day) is work and work means you have to be stoned to death.  That’s just one of the laws and commandments Jesus was referring to in John.  But I know from reading Leviticus and Deuteronomy as well as all the Old Testament that those commands were to Israel and I know through reading the Gospels and Acts that Israel was still supposed to keep them if they believed Christ.  Then when I read what Christ told Paul for the body of Christ I see we aren’t under that law but grace and we have different commandments that contradict or conflict with the ones Jesus gave to Israel and I know I’m to follow the last ones given that were written to me, Paul’s.  Paul was the last author of scripture and the apostle to the body of Christ which God is forming today so yes I follow Paul as he followed Christ.

Colossians 1:25 KJV — “Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;”

Once You Expire It’s Too Late

Everything and everybody  has an expiration date, including you. Which is why it is so important that every single one of us is absolutely certain of where they will go when that expiration date is up – eternal with God in Christ in heaven or eternal life in hell and the lake of fire where the worm dieth not.  We are all guilty before God, sinners bound for hell by birth.  Scripture tells us that all have sinned and that the wages of that sin is death.  That sin separates us from God who is holy, perfect and can not have sin where He is. He didn’t want it to be that way, He made man to fellowship with that’s why he walked with Adam in the garden, but when Adam rebelled and sinned  closeness and connection was broken.  God knew before he spoke this world into creation it would so way back then He came up with a plan to fix what Adam would bring on the world about to be created.  He planned one day to become a man, to put meat on, and live a perfect sinless life then at just the right time he would go to the Cross and die to pay for the sins of all mankind, he’d be buried and rose the third day alive, victorious over death and the grave offering complete and total justification to all who believe that today.  It’s that simple to know where you will go when your expiration date comes, just believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins was buried and rose again for your justification before God and that very instant you are saved, sealed and seated in heavenly places spiritually in Christ.  It is a done deal and nothing you do or don’t do from that moment on can ever change that.  It is finished, you are saved and heaven will be your eternal home.

Romans 3:23 KJV — For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 5:12 KJV — Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 6:23 KJV — For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:15 KJV — But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Romans 4:4-5 KJV “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Ephesians 1:7 & 13 KJV “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;… In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

The Greatest Love Story

Has anyone ever told you just how much God loves you?

He does. So much so that He did something so amazing for you, something you yourself could never ever do. He died for you, a jacked up lost sinner.

See we are all sinners by birth because of Adam’s sin, it’s just who we are. And God well, He’s perfect, just, holy and he can’t be a part of or around sin. That’s a problem see because God created man to be in fellowship with Him, and we crave that connection because at our core it’s the only thing that completes us. But like I said we’re a jacked up mess and we’ll we blew it. We sin and sin and sin and that separates us from God.

Romans 3:23 KJV — For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

But did you notice that last verse. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That is the greatest love story the world has ever seen. That God the creator of all things, perfect holy and just put meat on and became a man, Jesus Christ, then did what we as just regular man never could – lived a sin free life for over 30 years. Then
He went to the cross and died, was buried and rose from the tomb the third day. I know your like what, how’d that fix my problem with God? God became man and died How’s that fix my problem?

This is how:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Christ, God in the flesh, died for our sins, was buried and rose the third day for our justification before God and eternal life. He died but he didn’t stay dead! Let that soak in. He’s alive! And because he’s alive when we believe that he is who he said and did what he did and it accomplished what it accomplished then we are saved! Saved from those wages of sin mentioned before, saved from death and eternal hell because God himself paid the price for us, the price we can’t pay, because He loves us.

He loves us and wants us with Him to be in fellowship with us and that is why He did what He did and all he asks is that you trust Him by believing he did for you. What you never could or would. Do you?

And that my friend is the greatest love story the world has ever seen!

We Walk By Faith Not Sight

People often say God shows them things or signs, they think they see signs everywhere, whether it is in the sky above them or the ground beneath them, some even claim to see them in their food.  For instance I recently have seen several people claiming to have seen God’s hands in the clouds.  But this is just not what Scripture tells us is happening today.  Christ tells us in 2 Corinthians that we are to walk by faith not sight, that means we are to trust what God’s word says and have faith that it is true not be looking for physical, visible signs.

It’s true that in times past God did sometimes speak to certain people and give them visible signs in both the heavens and on Earth.  For instance he gave Moses many signs as he brought Israel as a nation out of Egypt and through the wilderness.  Then later he spoke to and gave his prophets signs for the nation of Israel as well.  Jesus in his earthly ministry and Peter on the day of Pentecost both talked about signs in the heavens that would occur during the last days leading up to and during Daniels 70th week as well.

But all of these signs and messages have one thing in common, they are all to do with the nation of Israel – they are signs to Israel that confirm prophecies or things spoken to them by God.  They are never random messages or signs that only make sense much later in retrospect.  All through Scripture when these signs and messages occur they are to for and about Israel and have to do with God’s promises to them, they are never to the gentiles and nation’s or about them although occasionally a gentile or nation may see or be used to deliver a message to God’s chosen nation Israel.

“For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:” — 1 Corinthians 1:22 KJV

The one time anything related to Gentiles was seen in heaven was when the glorified risen Christ shined down on a Jewish Pharisee named Saul, who became known as Paul, and saved him by grace alone on that Damascus Road one day. But that was much more than just a sign in the sky, that was God Almighty pouring out his glorious grace on the world apart from the nation of Israel by saving a Jewish man who was also a Roman citizen – the perfect man for what God was about to do.

“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:” — Acts 9:3 KJV

Israel and her promised Kingdom was put on hold and God revealed the secret he had kept hidden in himself since before the world began.  Before “Let there be light.” God had cooked up the most amazing plan ever to reconcile both heaven (which was already unclean in His sight) and Earth in Christ.  The Earth through Israel which was spoken of ever since the world began starting in Genesis and will be fulfilled in the future beginning with the promised Davidic kingdom of Christ on Earth.  The heavens though, they get restored in Christ through the Body of Christ which God is forming of all who trust Christ for their salvation today and are made members of his body.

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” — Ephesians 2:11-13 KJV

Each and every person today who believes that Christ died for their sins, was buried and rose again for their justification before God is instantly and eternally saved. Then they are sealed by the Holy Spirit into Christ, made a new creature in him, a member of his body. It is a gift of grace by God and all we have to do is accept that Jesus Christ did it all, paid it all and it is finished.  In that instant we are saved, sealed and seated in Christ. It’s by grace through faith.

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” — 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” — Ephesians 1:7 KJV

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” — Ephesians 1:13 KJV

God will pick back up with Israel after the body of Christ is caught up and Daniels 70th week begins in the future. At that time salvation by grace through faith alone for all will end and salvation will once again be of the Jew on a faith plus works basis such as we see in Acts 2:38 and 3:19.  Unlike today when God is dealing with men individually and saving us one by one, in the future salvation will be through Israel and the only way for Gentiles to be saved will be for them to become a Jew or to bless Israel in some way.  And since the Jew requires a sign then God will begin giving them what they require, signs and wonders.

Today we have no signs and wonders occurring.  Scripture is very clear that today we walk by faith and not by sight.  We are to lean upon the word of God as our means of interpreting the world around us and knowing God’s will for our lives.  We are to study to understand what he is doing by rightly dividing the word of truth.  All of Scripture is true, it is all God’s word, but it isn’t all in effect at every moment.  Salvation is always by faith and the shed blood of Christ but the means of showing that faith and obtaining access to that salvation changes.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

For instance Noah had a salvation plan given to him – build an ark.  Abraham was told to leave his father’s land, trust God and wait for a child then to sacrifice that child.  All through out the Old Testament we see how God gave different instructions to each person along the way and how the action required to show their faith is different. Israel as a nation had to do certain things such as get water baptized and confess their sins of rejecting God, killing their Messiah and blaspheming the Holidays Spirit to be saved and enter their future kingdom. Their program will again be filled with signs that verify and prove all the prophecies that God gave that have yet to be fulfilled.

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” — 1 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV

But today God’s will is that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth by grace alone through faith alone.  We don’t get signs, wonders or miracles.  For a time while Paul was receiving from Christ the revelations that would become and compete our Scriptures their were signs and miracles occuring such as tongues (actual foreign languages not nonsensical babbling like some teach today), prophecies (confirmation of revelations given to confirm what was Scripture and what was faked lies), and healings (signs done by Paul to counter those by Peter and the 11 to provoke the Jew to jealousy and believing the gospel of the grace of God and becoming a member of the body of Christ.  The signs and wonders done at the beginning of the age of grace ceased though in time.  By the time the last book of Scripture, 2 Timothy,  is penned by Paul the signs and miracles have ceased because that which is perfect – the completed word of God, the Bible – was come.  That’s why Paul told Timothy to take wine medicinally and why he left Trophimus sick in Miletum instead of just healing them.

“For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” — 1 Corinthians 13:9-10 KJV

Because we have the completed word of God today we don’t need to look for signs in the earth or the sky or listen and seek for a word from God.  He has already given us all the words he wants us to have in the Bible.  If you speak English they are found in the King James Bible and that is our final authority, where we go to know what God is doing and what we need to do. We have faith that it is enough and we walk in that faith and assurance.  We don’t look for signs or for God to show us things (notice those things are only clear in retrospect when in Scripture they are clear immediately and do not have to be made to fit a situation) we read His word and walk by faith in it.  The reading is our sight and if we want to hear God speak read it aloud.

Grace and peace.

Repent = Change of Mind

In the over 100 occurrences of some form of the word “repent” it ALWAYS means a change of mind in scripture and it never means to stop sinning. In fact God himself repents more than anyone else, I stopped counting at 12 times so if repent means to stop sinning then God is the worst sinner of all! It’s true that often sorrow, grief and pain occur with a change of mind but that is the consequence or result of changing or repenting not the act of it.

Before you say I’m crazy let’s just use God’s own definition of the words repent, repented, repentance and repenting by looking at the first occurrence of each to see the meaning given them. This is the rule of first mention and is the main meaning or way in which any given word is used in Scripture.

“Repent ”
Exodus 13:17 KJV — “And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:”
👉Israel might have changed their mind and returned to Egypt out of fear.

“Repented”
Genesis 6:6 KJV — “And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”
👉God changed his mind about making man.

” Repentance”
Hosea 13:14 KJV — “I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.”
👉They will not be able to change their mind or ways and escape their fate.

Jeremiah 15:6 KJV — “Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.”
👉This is the only occurrence it does not mean sinning as it is God who is speaking and God cannot sin.

So telling a lost sinner to repent by stopping sinning is kinda pointless. First off, that’s not what the word even means and secondly lost sinners can’t stop sinning. Let’s let God explain through his word why it is impossible for dead sinners to stop being who they are. Let’s just see what God tells us:

Romans 5:12 KJV — “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and👉 death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”👈

Romans 6:23 KJV — “👉For the wages of sin is death👈; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Ephesians 2:1-10 KJV — “And you hath he quickened, 👉who were dead in trespasses and sins; 👈Wherein in time past 👉ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:👈 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 👉Even when we were dead in sins,👈 hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

A lost person is dead in the sins they live in until they change their mind about God and believe that Christ paid the debt they owe God when He went to the cross. It is belief that Christ Jesus’ death to pay for their sins, his burial to remove them and his resurrection for their justification before God that saves them. Believing that He did what they couldn’t do they are instantly, eternally sealed into Christ, baptized spiritually into His death, His burial and His resurrection. Their life, as every other saved person today’s life, is then hid in Christ. They live in Him and therefore they aren’t slaves to their desires of the flesh and sin because they aren’t dead in sin but alive in Christ whom they have believed on.

They are saved by his grace and they live in his grace, it is their strength to overcome sin when He is who they rest in. In his grace, his strength, his faith and not their own. When they walk in Him, in His spirit then they will seek to do his will, and they find that by studying their Bible (KJV) learning what God says to them and they are more than conquerors.

Romans 8:37 KJV — “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

We find that in the books written to for and about us today, Romans through Philemon, given to the Apostle Paul by the glorified risen Christ from heaven; these 13 books are the completion of Scripture and record the final instructions of God to his people ever recorded. In them we find out about the mystery God had been hiding in himself since before the world began, the mystery of what exactly was accomplished by the cross. We also learn about other mysteries God had kept secret like the body of Christ and it’s catching away to the heavenlies with him one day. We learn who we are and what Gods purpose in forming us, Christ’s body, is. Which then let’s us fully understand what God was doing and revealing through all the rest of the Bible with the nation of Israel spoken of since the world began. We fully understand His two fold plan to restore both heaven and Earth back under his government in Christ.

Ephesians 1:10 KJV — “That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:”

As we begin to understand more about what Gods doing and who we now are in his Son we are changed from the inside out and that old sin nature starts dieing and our spirit grows as we become rooted and grounded in the truths of sound doctrine, preparing for eternity.

Titus 2:1 KJV — “But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:”

That is why we MUST be careful to pay attention to how God uses words like “repent” and not give them man’s meanings. Because telling a lost souls to repent and stop sinning in order to be saved today is useless, it can’t save or keep them saved because they are trusting in what they are doing not what Christ did, and sadly their still just as lost as a golf ball in high weeds. They’re still lost but they are now trusting a false hope and don’t realize it, a false hope that makes it so very hard for them to see the truth of the Gospel of God’s grace after that and truly be saved. Hell is full of those who said they were Christian but never really trusted Christ to save them.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV — “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

They never believed that Christ died for their sins, his death paid the price for all of them past, present, and future (at that time all our sins today we’re yet future after all); his burial to remove them and his resurrection for their justification before God.

Have you?

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV — “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

You Are Not Alone, Grace Believer

My friend LeighAnn Mycko wrote this and it is so true and just hit me right in the feels tonight. Some days being a grace believer is lonely but we truly are not alone!

Each one of us, before we were saved and came to the knowledge of the truth, was in darkness.

Each one of us, before we were saved and came to the knowledge of the truth, believed lies.

Each one of us, before we were saved and came to the knowledge of the truth, was a fool.

All of us grace believers came from a place of unbelief.

All of us grace believers were once consumed with our own vain imaginings.

All of us grace believers were once children of disobedience.

We failed to give God the glory.

We failed to be thankful to God.

We failed to worship and serve the Creator more than the creature.

But now, we know we are justified by his blood, saved from wrath, and that we shall live with him.

But now, we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.

But now, our conversation is in heaven as we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Change doesn’t happen over night.

Studying rightly divided takes time and effort.

Sometimes life gets in the way and slows down that progress.

It happens to us all at one time or another.

Keep going anyhow.

Don’t ever stop believing.

Don’t ever stop studying.

Stick to sound doctrine, because when everyone leaves you, sound doctrine won’t!

God Never Said Just Be Happy!

I often hear people say things like “If you know what it takes for you to be happy then just do it. If your a Christian or if your not it doesn’t matter, God wants his people happy. So just go do it! ”

But this could not be more wrong.

God does not say anywhere in his word that he just wants us to be happy in general . Saying just be happy if you mean by going out and embracing the deceptions and wily ways of the world then God does not want that for those who are in Christ. In fact when Paul addresses believers living carnally in their flesh rather than spiritually in Christ his response is “God forbid!”

It is literally the exact opposite of how to be happy as a Christian, saying “oh just go do whatever makes you feel good right now in your flesh even if it’s a sin in God’s eyes,” all that will accomplish is keeping you the same jacked up mess you were when before you first trusted Christ for your salvation.

Instead believers in the body of Christ (Christians) are instructed to study God’s word rightly divided to show themselves approved unto God by being grounded in sound doctrine which roots and stablishes us in who we are in Christ. If a person says they have trusted Christ as their Saviour then they are part of Christ’s body and thus represent Him, don’t suggest they obey the world rather than the one who died for them. Christ’s instructions to all who trust Him are:

When we do that we see see his grace is sufficient and just how true it is we are blessed with all spiritual blessings and thus we know true peace and happiness.

I also would never tell a lost, unsaved soul to just do whatever to be happy either. I would point out that the reason they aren’t happy is they are separated from God by their sinful nature, lost and headed for eternity in hell.

Since all have sinned all will die for that is the result of sin. If a person dies without trusting Christ as their Saviour they go to hell, it’s that simple. So I would share the gospel if God’s glorious grace that gets them saved and sealed eternally in Christ giving them eternal life in him.

I would show them how Christ died on the cross and paid the price for ALL their sins past present and future; was buried to forever remove their sins from them, and rose the third day for their justification before God and when they trust in Christ alone by believing that it is his finished cross work alone they are saved. Saved, sealed and set in Christ for all eternity and then I would begin showing them who they now are in Christ and how to grow in grace and sound doctrine for their edification so that they will know the true peace and happiness ONLY found in Christ which is also how God intends and wants his people to be happy, because today those in the Body of Christ are His only people.

The happiness found when we embrace and glory in ALL that we now ARE in Christ!

My Home

THE STARRY SKY IS MY HOME

I’ve always looked up at the night sky with great wonderment, never really being sure about it.

BUT NOW that I’m saved and I’ve come to the knowledge of the truth from my KJV Bible rightly divided, the night sky has so much more meaning for me!

For there, I KNOW, will be my home for eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ.

You may laugh at me for “rightly dividing,” and you might think I’m crazy for being KJV only, and you could consider me a heretick for following apostle Paul.

But, one thing I can do that you can’t, when I look up at a starry sky, IS REJOICE IN HOPE OF THE GLORY OF GOD, KNOWING THAT I SHALL BE DELIVERED from the bondage of corruption, through patience and comfort of the scriptures, and am filled with all joy and peace in believing, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith, KNOWING what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought IN Christ!

FAITH “is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Which means FAITH is believing that what God has said in his written word is true. Heb 11:1; Rom 10:17; 2Cor 4:13 KJV.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN
HAVING THIS SAME HOPE OF GOD?

If so …

.

#1 – you must FIRST be saved by being IN Christ before you die. And, God places you IN Christ the moment you have TRUSTED in God the Son Jesus Christ as your only means of salvation, AND then without doing, saying, or praying anything, have BELIEVED that Christ died for our sins, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day. See Rom 1:16; Eph 2:8-9; 1Cor 15:1-4; Eph 1:13 KJV.

#2 – And, THEN, as a saved person you need his pure word of truth, the book of the Lord (KJV), so you can rest in the hope of God;

#3 – And, THEN, you must obey and acknowledge God’s commandment in 2Timothy 2:15 KJV, and study, rightly dividing the word of truth;

#4 – you must believe and acknowledge what Paul says in Ephesians 3:1-11; 2 Timothy 2:7; Philippians 3:17-21 KJV;

#5 – you must obey and acknowledge God’s commandment in Romans 16:25-26 and 1 Corinthians 14:37 KJV.

Foolish Hearts Darkened

Every single day I see this verse playing out before me and it breaks mine heart. I am often asked why the world is like it is, why so much hurt, pain, suffering and evil abound. I take them to Romans 1 and I point out this verse. Then I back up and go through the passage in full.

Romans 1:18-32 KJV — “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

There’s no arguing with words God wrote almost 2,000 years ago, even for those who are unsaved. For those who are saved and in Christ with me then I show throughout Scripture how this is the attack of Satan, his wiles, then show them passages like Ephesians 6:10-18 to prepare them to stand and fight well armed in Christ.

Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV — “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

But if they are unsaved well what better opportunity to share the gospel of God’s glorious grace than the moment they realize just why this world is such a jacked up mess and that they can choose to stop fighting for the wrong team and get saved.

Romans 3:23 KJV — For 👉all have sinned👈, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 5:12 KJV — Wherefore, as👉 by one man sin entered into the world👈, and death by sin; and so👉 death passed upon all men, 👈for that all have sinned:

Romans 6:23 KJV — For the 👉wages of sin is death; 👈but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:15 KJV — But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV — For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that 👉Christ died for our sins 👈according to the scriptures; And that he 👉was buried, and that he rose again 👈the third day according to the scriptures:

Ephesians 1:13 KJV — In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also👉 after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit 👈of promise,

2 Corinthians 1:22 KJV — Who hath also 👉sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.👈

Then I begin helping them see that even though they are still stuck in this hot mess of trouble here in this world, praise God their not part of it anymore.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV —👉 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.👈

Ephesians 2:6 KJV — “And hath raised us up together, and👉 made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

Philippians 3:20 KJV — “For 👉our conversation is in heaven; 👈from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:”

I get them grounded and edified and then I show them how to fight the good fight of faith till the day we are caught up or laid in the ground.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV — “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Just because the world’s a mess and sure ain’t gonna get no better don’t mean we gotta just watch it go to hell in a hand basket. We can walk in who we are in Christ using the tools he gives us in himself – his grace and strength and most of all His perfect unchanging ever sure word – to go out and fight. We can fight by being ready always to give an answer for the hope and peace that fills us. We can be Amabassadors and represent Christ well.

1 Timothy 6:12 KJV — “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
